My dad graduated to Heaven 15 years ago -- July 18, 2011.  He was an old-fashioned sinner saved at an old-fashioned altar of prayer in a Brethren In Christ church tent meeting.  He said when a sinner, he was active and vocal for the world.  When he became a Christian, he wanted to be active and vocal for the Lord.  He enjoyed lively songs.....he really enjoyed this one while my mom would play the piano.

My desire is to follow in his footsteps, and to endure until the end.  He taught me the importance of repenting, and having a clear conscience before the Lord.  Hallelujah. (one of his favorite words)  This song is page 286 in the Brethren In Christ Praise and Worship Hymnal
