35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?

36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.

37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.

38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,

39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

For those who have faced divorce or separation, here are a few thoughts to keep in mind:

1.  Do not engage when they attempt to start drama.

2.  Respond with kindness just like Jesus.

3.  Never stoop to the the level of revenge or petty retaliation.

4.  Forgive them and pray often for them.

5.  Grieve when necessary, but don't get stuck there.  Do not turn a person, or marriage into an idol.  We are only passing through.

6.  Be grateful for all the Lord gives for us to enjoy.  Some people are with us for a lifetime.  Others for only a season.  Accept this, and keep focused on the Lord.

Philippians 3:8

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
